If you shoot Landscape or Architecture we think Phase One might have just delivered what you have been waiting for with the new XT System. Most disciplines of Photography were served well in the mass migration from Analog to Digital; but field cameras have to a large degree been overlooked with solutions being less than fully integrated and practical - marrying body, lens, shutter and digital back with adaptors and cables in often overweight and cumbersome variants.
We have been working with field camera and digital back integrations from the very beginning. That’s meant of lot of compromise and disappointment along the way as we waited for the future to catch up with our needs. We believe that for many Landscape, Fine Art and Architectural photographers the XT could be just what we; and you have been waiting for.
The XT uses the new Digital X-Shutter with custom Rodenstock HR Lenses with 23mm, 32mm and 70mm versions available now.
It is beautifully built for travel; a lightweight fully integrated platform. A full 24mm of Shift is available on the X & Y axis and you can switch from Landscape to Portrait without detaching from a tripod.
